ASIA NIGHT BENEFIT GALA
AAC Asia Night Benefit Gala 2010 is an enchanting, fun-filled evening, complete with special guest speakers, entertainment by famous Vietnamese performers, a reception, silent auctions, cocktails, and raffle drawings. The AAC Gala Committee is composed entirely of volunteers, including parents, friends, members, and board members.
All proceeds from the Benefit Gala will be used to establish one culturally competent computer and resource center for the fishermen and families to receive the available, correct information in a language that is accessible to them which are critical to the long term recovery process Provide access to critical information and resources online. The resource center will help provide access to critical information and resources online, increase access to services and opportunities for the marginalized Vietnamese Americans community, build capacity for other non-profit organizations working with non-English speakers to engage the Asian American community, and promote community awareness on preventative health issues.
